Our story

Made in a backyard,
not a factory.

Every jar of HUNI starts in our own hives. We harvest in small batches, strain by hand, and never heat or blend our honey — so what reaches your kitchen is exactly what the bees made. Thick, raw, and different with every season.

"I've stopped buying supermarket honey completely. The Comb doesn't even make it to the shelf — we eat it off the spoon."

How it happens

Slow honey, on purpose.

01

The bees do the work

Our hives sit beside wildflower fields. No sugar feeding, no shortcuts — the flavor comes from whatever blooms that month.

02

We harvest gently

Frames are uncapped by hand and spun cold. Heat kills the good stuff, so we simply never use it.

03

Straight into jars

Strained once, poured once, labeled by hand at the kitchen table. From hive to jar in a single afternoon.

Good questions

Before you ask.

My honey went solid and grainy — is it spoiled?

The opposite: it's proof it's raw. Real honey crystallizes naturally. Stand the jar in warm (not boiling) water for 10 minutes and it flows again like day one.

Do you deliver? Where?

We hand-deliver locally every Saturday, and ship nationwide in bubble-wrapped boxes on Mondays. DM us your area and we'll tell you exactly when your jar arrives.

Why does the taste change between batches?

Because the flowers change. Spring jars are light and floral; late-summer jars are darker and bolder. That's not inconsistency — that's the whole point of small-batch honey.

Can babies eat this?

No honey — ours or anyone's — should be given to babies under 12 months. For everyone else: spoons ready.

First taste of every new batch.

One short note when a harvest drops. No spam — we're too busy with bees.
